Subway Swindon Designer

Welcome to Subway Swindon Designer, a restaurant nestled in the vibrant Swindon Designer Outlet located at Swindon SN2 2. Known for its fresh ingredients and customizable subs, this location aims to deliver a beloved experience typical of the Subway brand. However, the reviews tell a different story.

Customer feedback has highlighted some significant challenges that the Subway Swindon Designer faces. Many patrons have expressed dissatisfaction with the service received at this outlet. Remarks such as "rude staff" and "unhelpful employees" have become common themes, suggesting a lack of training and attentiveness from service personnel. Customers have reported orders being mishandled and a reluctance to accommodate specific requests for salads and sauces, which are typically hallmarks of the Subway experience.

As for the food, critiques have ranged from descriptions of mushy tomatoes and slimy cucumbers to complaints that the sandwiches are overpriced for the quality offered. Some have gone as far as to describe the offerings as "lacking life," invoking images of wilted vegetables that don't inspire confidence in freshness.

If only I can give star I will. The staff are not helpful both of the Indian and White Lady . Ordered a food which i wanted to have a salad on it the way I use to have in some other branches the indian lady said I can only put one sauce and one type of salad. She could have offered different choices to us but the other girl just said Can’t change the order. the food i ordered is not worth the price

On October th, , around : PM, we had a very unpleasant experience. One of the two employees, a white female, took our order, but despite us ordering, she did not respond or speak at all.We ordered a -inch sandwich. However, instead of taking the bread from the bread cabinet, she went to the open space at the lower right and brought out a loaf that looked old. Then, she cut off - inches from the -inch sandwich, threw it in the trash, and tried to give us only a - inch piece of bread. The bread looked very old, and we told her that it was clearly not a -inch sandwich, and that her behavior was wrong. When we canceled the order, she threw the remaining bread into the trash right in front of us!This is extremely inappropriate and rude behavior. It is also unhygienic. This is clearly racial discrimination. We were extremely angry, and we will never visit this Subway location again! If I could give stars, I would. Avoid this place at all costs!

I am a frequent customer to this subway but that will defo end today. I work in the Outlet myself and often go to the food court for food during my break. Today i was served by a very rude lady who was not welcoming at all. I was the only one in line and was waiting to be served. The lady proceeded to tidy things that were not in urgent need of tidying before serving me, not very 'customer first' focused. In between making my food with her gloves on, she continued to dust the back surfaces behind her with a dirty rag. When i POLITELY asked if she could change her gloves after cleaning before continuing to touch my food, she replied 'my shop and the rag is clean why do i need to change my gloves?' (which makes no sense because if your shop is clean then why are you cleaning it between making customers food? also idk where the rag has been and is obviously getting dirty when your use it to dust something!!) I then said i have worked in a subway previously in the past, which is true, and just mentioned that its normal to change gloves if needed, i just wanted to show empathy that i know what its like to work there. She then replied 'well my shop is clean, your shop may have been dirty but my shop is clean'... bit rude. She then said she will change her gloves just because she has to do what the customer says. She made it sound like i was causing her a major inconvenience by asking this of her which i wasn't, any normal person would prefer their food to be made with clean, dirt-free gloves in my opinion. Then when i left and began to eat my food, i could see that she put no effort in making my food and gave me a half-asked wrap that i couldn't even eat because she had put too much sauce on it, probably because she was too busy arguing back at me to focus on doing a good job :) went back to work and told my co-workers about this experience and they all agreed that she was extremely out of line for that. Personally i never treated anyone like that when i worked at Subway and i was only years old back then. An old lady like her should know better :) xxI didn't even eat the wrap in the end because that experience fully made me loose my appetite. waste of £ :( i get a lot of anxiety standing up for myself and requesting things like this and this experience really did not help in bettering that.ps. just because none of your co-workers were around to see, doesn't mean you should treat a customer like that, basic human compassion :))

Avoid this absolute circus of an establishment. Food is pathetic, I've seen more life in an end of life patient. Mushy tomato, slimy cucumber, sour mayonnaise, grey sweetcorn, tinted red lettuce, and when I spoke to the manager who was struggling with the till behind the counter, the reply was "Well it was fresh this morning". More expensive than other Subways. I also don't think they've heard of "Service with a smile." I thought I had time travelled to the times of the Great Depression.
